What an amazing book, it really opens your eyes to the horrors that lie across the globe, and how freedom is so precious and yet taken for granted so easily.

One of the most explosive books I have read.  Really opens your eyes about conditions inside kerobokan in Bali.  Shocking to realise that one can be arrested for a minor crime and spend the same cell with rapists/murderers and drug addicts.  Even more shocking is people arrested for drugs are subject to an even bigger racket of drugs within the jail walls. could not put the book down. 

Could not put the book down. One of the best books I've ever read. I didn't even know that place really existed until I read your book. That place really is hell on earth. Horrible place...but amazing book!

Hi. Hope this mail finds you in the best of health. I have just finished reading your book. Hotel K.....chilling, sad and disappointing as to how the world is. Love the way you write though, couldn’t get my head out of the book till I finished it. My heart aches for some of the people in there, hurts. I wanted to know if one wanted to go visit someone anyone in there, just to make them smile, or laugh is it possible. I am not a very rich person, but I feel like making a difference. maybe volunteering, or cooking for them I don’t know anything. I do hope to hear from you either way. tc God Bless.

Just finished Hotel K and thought it was amazing! truly recommend it! it’s a great read, to anyone who has read it and enjoyed it, to read "the damaged done" another great jail book. what a shame to scott rush and that other auzzy girl. they should both be free now!

I really enjoyed the book Hotel Kerobokan, I couldn't put it down. I could not believe the things that go on in there. Very eye opening. FANTASTIC BOOK thank you Kathryn :) A book I would and have recommended to everyone.

It’s an amazing book! I could not put it down and I have been passing it on to my friends to read. Never a dull moment in this book and it’s so easy to read. I think you have done such an amazing work and I hope you will keep going and write more books about all those great characters in Hotel K.- Western Australia

Great book feels like I know all the inmates. real eye opener. A must read for anyone thinking of messing around in Bali.
